"Pathways to Inclusive Leadership" was a virtual roundtable designed to promote Gratitude's Inclusive Capital Fund (a fund of funds investing in emerging managers) and generate LP interest and commitments. We chose guest speakers strategically, each one had deep networks of women investors and allocators who were targets for this fund.
Pre-Event:
Segmented our invite lists in Affinity: existing and prospective LPs received personalized emails through Affinity's email CRM, broader ecosystem went through Mailchimp campaign
Ran a pre- and post-event LinkedIn content campaign to share key insights and takeaways
Coordinated with guest speakers (each connected to key networks: C-suite women, RIA advisors, female investors) to amplify the event through their channels
Post-Event:
Each speaker reposted content to their networks, one speaker's org alone has 16K+ followers so impressions easily hit 5K+
Post-event segmented email follows ups:
Prospective LPs received personalized emails from Principal with pitch deck + meeting invite
Existing investors in other products received a recap, recording, and invite to learn more about this product
Existing fund LPs received recap, recording, and invite to share more with network
General attendees received recap + recording
Metrics:
Email open rate tracked in Affinity and Mailchimp
LinkedIn engagement (averaged ~30 likes per speaker post, reached 5K+ impressions through partner amplification)
Tagged every attendee in Affinity by LP/prospect status so we could track engagement and see who was most engaged with our work
Tracked post event meetings, data rooms shared, and fund commitments
Results:
75 attendees, ~5 LP meetings booked, strong cross-network engagement, and CRM intel on which prospects were engaging with our work. -
